FBI Offers Reward in Boonville Casino Robbery Case

The FBI’s Kansas City Division is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man accused in a casino robbery in Boonville earlier this year.

Authorities say Hollis C. Vanleer jr. is wanted in connection with the March 25th armed robbery at the Isle of Capri Casino.

Investigators say two masked men wearing dark clothing and sunglasses entered the casino, accessed a restricted vault area, and stole a large amount of cash before fleeing.

Vanleer was later charged in Cooper County with first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, and first-degree assault.

Officials say he may have ties to Illinois and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is urged to contact federal or state law enforcement or submit a tip through the FBI.
