Drivers in Moniteau County can expect delays starting this morning as a road resurfacing project gets underway on Business Route 50 in California, Missouri.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says crews will resurface the roadway from U.S. Route 50 to the end of state maintenance. Work is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays through the end of July.
During construction, one lane will remain closed, with flaggers and a pilot car guiding traffic through the work zone.
MoDOT is reminding drivers on side roads to wait for the pilot car before entering the route.
Once the project is complete, crews will move on to resurfacing Route F in Moniteau County.
