A Moberly woman was seriously injured Saturday evening in a hit-and-run crash in Boone County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Troopers say the crash happened around 6:03 p.m. on northbound U.S. 63, just south of Missouri 763.
Investigators report an unknown vehicle struck the rear of a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by a 32-year-old woman.
After the impact, the Cobalt ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken by Boone County Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
Authorities say the striking vehicle left the scene and has not been identified.
