A Mexico man is behind bars after being arrested for fleeing from police on Sunday night.
23-year-old Davayjion Blackwell was arrested after an officer reportedly tried to pull him over just after 8 p.m. because the officer knew he did not have a valid license. However, upon seeing the officer’s lights, he reportedly sped off, before trying to escape to a house, where a resident allegedly tried to pull Blackwell into the home.
Another officer was able to assist in arresting Blackwell and taking him into custody Sunday, where he is being jailed without bond.
