A Boone County grand jury has added a second-degree felony murder charge against a Columbia man accused in a deadly 2024 shooting outside a White Castle.
Twenty-six-year-old Antione Lamont Armstrong now faces felony murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of armed criminal action.
Prosecutors say 56-year-old Louis Hart was killed in the May 2024 shooting after the two men got into a fight.
Armstrong’s trial, which had been set for next week, has been postponed, and a new trial date has not yet been scheduled.
Armstrong remains jailed without bond.
