JCPD Asking for Help in Hit and Run Which Left Two Injured

Jeff City Police are asking for help in a hit and run case that injured two people yesterday {Monday}.

The driver reportedly hit two people who were walking in the road and drove off. The incident happened around 10:49 a.m. Monday on the intersection of Idlewood and Route C.

Police say they are looking for a white Lincoln SUV, driven by a white woman with dark hair. The passenger side mirror was reportedly damaged in the incident.

36-year-old Roberto Gutierrez and 32-yea-old Jesus Contreras, both from Columbia, Mo., were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call (573) 634-6400.
