Providence Road Ramp Closure Postponed
The westbound Interstate 70 on-ramp from Providence Road will now close overnight on July 1, July 6 and July 7 after recent rainfall delayed the work.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says the ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. each night while crews complete earthwork.
Drivers heading to westbound I-70 should plan to use an alternate route.
MoDOT says the schedule remains weather dependent.
The work is part of the ongoing I-70 improvement project, which includes rebuilding the Providence Road bridge with a wider overpass to accommodate the expanded interstate.
