The City of Columbia offices will be closed Friday in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Trash collection and the landfill will operate on their normal schedules, but the Household Hazardous Waste drop-off event has been canceled.
GoCOMO buses will run their regular weekday routes Friday but will not operate Saturday.
The city will also offer a free shuttle Saturday evening between downtown parking garages and Stephens Lake Park for the Fire in the Sky celebration.
Emergency police and fire services will remain available throughout the holiday weekend.
