Mid-Missouri communities are gearing up for Fourth of July celebrations with parades, live music and fireworks throughout the holiday weekend.
The Annual Tyronn Lue Fireworks Celebration is all day Friday and Saturday
Columbia’s Fire in the Sky returns to Stephens Lake Park on Saturday,
while Jefferson City’s Salute to America expands to a two-day celebration on Friday and Saturday.
Centralia’s Ringing of the Bells on Saturday
the Mexico Noon lions host Annual Fireworks Saturday at the Optimist Ball Fields
Other festivities are planned in Fulton and Versailles.
Meanwhile, Osage Beach has postponed its FreedomFest celebration until July 11.
Many events this year are also recognizing the nation’s 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
