Kingdom City Westbound I-70 Ramp Reopens

Drivers in mid-Missouri can expect an easier commute through Kingdom City.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has reopened the ramp from U.S. 54 to westbound Interstate 70 after it was closed for more than two months.

The closure began in late April as crews shifted traffic onto a newly constructed bridge as part of ongoing improvements along the I-70 corridor.

The work is part of MoDOT’s statewide Improve I-70 project, which will add a third lane in both directions between Columbia and Kingdom City.
