Cold Case Defendant Appears in Court
A man charged in a nearly 26-year-old Columbia cold case is expected in Boone County court at 1pm Today.
Forty-five-year-old Sentrell Wilson faces a first-degree murder charge in the 2000 death of University of Missouri student Candace Richie.
Wilson was arrested in South Carolina in February and extradited to Missouri in April following a joint investigation by the Columbia Police Department and the Missouri Attorney General’s Cold Case Unit.
Friday’s hearing will focus on the status of his legal representation.
