Jenkins charged with rape, armed criminal action
A 50-year-old Fulton man was charged with rape earlier this week.
Callaway County Prosecutors charged Ronmell A. Jenkins with First Degree Rape, Armed Criminal Action, First Degree Kidnapping, Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm, Unlawful Use Of Weapon, Tampering With Physical Evidence In Felony Prosecution, and a misdemeanor count of Fourth Degree Assault.
Wednesday a woman reported that she was raped by Jenkins after he had picked her up and drove her to Hillcrest Cemetery. Jenkins then displayed a gun, put it to her head and forced her to have sex.
Jenkins was arrested yesterday and is currently being held without bond in the Callaway County Jail.
