Kingdom City I-70 Exit access to close eastbound

The final phase of the initial expansion of the Improve I-70 Project got underway last night, when Mo DOT crews initiated a traffic shift in Callaway County. The new work zone will bring ramp closures at two exits that are projected to last for several months, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Both the eastbound Hatton access ramp at Exit 144, and the eastbound Kingdom City exit ramp at Exit 148 are now closed, however both westbound ramps will remain open.

Drivers must use alternate routes for both closures, according to the release.

Eastbound drivers who need to go to Kingdom City or access U.S. 54 can exit at Exit 144 and use Outer Road 70 to get to Kingdom City.
