Former Monroe County Public Administrator Sentenced to 10 Years’ Prison Time

A former Monroe County Public Administrator was sentenced to 10 years in prison Wednesday.

49-year-old Jessica Chase of Paris pleaded guilty to financially exploiting a disabled person, stealing, and filing false documents, according to the Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office.

Chase served as public administrator from 2021 to 2024 and was accused of stealing money “from the custodial accounts of disabled persons under her care”.

A federal investigation is still pending with the Social Security Administration.
