Missouri State Fair Begins in Sedalia
The Missouri State Fair gets underway today in Sedalia, bringing 11 days of livestock, carnival rides, concerts and America 250 celebrations.
The fair runs through August 23, with gates open daily from 7:20 in the morning until 10 at night.
Admission is 15 dollars for adults, 10 dollars for seniors and four dollars for children ages six to 12.
Kids five and younger get in free, and parking is free.
The Grandstand lineup includes The All-American Rejects, Russell Dickerson, Skillet, Nate Smith, Rick Ross and Little Big Town.
The fair also features more than 160 attractions, including rodeos, tractor pulls, the Budweiser Clydesdales and a butter sculpture.
