One Person Hospitalized in Boone County Accident

One person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in Boone County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says that the crash happened Thursday on Westbound I-70 when the 59-year-old driver from Ohio went off the left side of the road and struck a concrete barrier.

The 27-year-old passenger, a female from Texas, was transported to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

The crash report also states neither occupant was wearing a safety device.
