Brinegar Pretrial Hearing Today
A pretrial hearing is scheduled today for Seth Brinegar, who is charged in connection with a deadly 2024 shooting at a Columbia gas station.
Brinegar is accused of second-degree murder, three counts of armed criminal action, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
Court documents say a gun was fired from inside a vehicle at the FastLane gas station on February 1st, 2024, killing 33-year-old Corey Bilger as he pumped gas.
Brinegar’s jury trial was recently pushed back to September 1st after the defense requested a continuance.
The trial is expected to last three to four days.
