Columbia Man Arrested for Leading Officers on a Chase
A Columbia man was arrested over the weekend for leading officers on a chase of over 100 miles per hour.
An officer reportedly tried to pull over 22-year-old Deadren Martin’s car due to being a black car without its lights on at dark, as well as failing to yield. He then reportedly did not stop or slow down and led officers west on I-70 at speeds of over 100 miles per hour.
He is charged with two felonies, resisting a stop by fleeing and endangering the welfare of a child, and one misdemeanor for operating a motor vehicle without a license.
