MoDOT Seeks Input on Howard County Bridges
The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking public input on plans to replace two aging bridges in Howard County.
The Business Route 240 and Missouri 3 bridges over the Canadian Pacific Kansas City railroad were built in 1934 and 1941 and are in poor condition.
Both bridges would close during construction, with signed detours in place. Construction is expected in 2027 or 2028.
MoDOT will hold a public meeting September 3rd from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Armstrong City Hall.
The public can also submit comments online between August 27th and September 17th.
