Nearly 8 Years Later, Roland Murder Remains Unsolved

Nearly eight years after the shooting death of 20-year-old Dominick Roland, Columbia police say they have persons of interest but have not made an arrest.

Roland was shot during a drive-by shooting in January 2019. Investigators say he was riding in a car when another vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire.

Police say witnesses have provided information about a dispute involving people who were with Roland that night, but investigators say there is not enough evidence to support charges.
