St. Joseph Man Killed in I-70 Crash
A St. Joseph man was killed in a crash Monday evening on Interstate 70 in Cooper County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. near the 99-mile marker in the eastbound lanes. Investigators say a 2014 Harley-Davidson overturned, ejecting the 48-year-old driver, who was then struck by a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek traveling behind him.
The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Subaru driver, a 29-year-old woman from Seattle, was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
