Columbia Woman Charged With Package Theft

A Columbia woman is facing a felony charge after police said she stole a package from a home.

According to court documents, the homeowner told police a woman took the package from their porch on August 26 and left.

Police say surveillance and a neighbor’s doorbell camera captured the incident and the vehicle involved, including its license plate.

Officers later stopped the vehicle and arrested 23-year-old Addison Wilson.

She was charged with felony stealing of a postal or delivery item. Court documents say the package was valued at about seven dollars.
