Callaway County Family Loses Home in Fire

A Callaway County family of six is without a home after an early-morning fire Saturday.

The Central Callaway County Fire Protection District and Fulton Fire Department responded around 2:30 a.m. to an electrical fire on County Road 414.

Firefighters arrived to find about half the home engulfed in flames. Crews from South Callaway and New Bloomfield also assisted.

No one was injured, but the family’s pets did not survive. Their car was also destroyed.

A GoFundMe has been created to help the family recover.
