Mexico Woman Donates $30,000 to King’s Daughters Home
The King’s Daughters Home in Mexico is receiving a generous gift in memory of a former resident.
Becky Chapman Hagan has donated $30,000 to the Home in honor of her mother, Ruth Chapman, who was once a resident there. Hagan’s aunt, Kay Erdel, was also a resident.
A Mexico native and 1963 Mexico High School graduate, Hagan went on to earn a physical therapy degree from the University of Missouri. She and her husband, Dr. John Hagan, have lived in Kansas City since 1975.
The King’s Daughters & Sons says it is deeply grateful for Hagan’s generosity and her commitment to giving back to her hometown.
