Missouri Firefighters Honored This Weekend
Missouri firefighters will gather in Kingdom City this weekend to honor those who died in the line of duty.
The events come after Governor Mike Kehoe proclaimed October fourth as Fire Service Memorial Day in Missouri.
A candlelight vigil will be held Saturday night at seven at the Fire Fighters Memorial of Missouri.
A memorial service Sunday morning will honor five firefighters recently added to the memorial wall: Captain Andrew Donner, Larry Duncan, Chief Garry Moore, Lee Krauss and Jackson Warren.
The services will be held at the memorial, weather permitting. If needed, they will move to Auxvasse Elementary School.
