Missouri Proposes New Cannabis Rules

Missouri could soon change rules governing the licensing and ownership of cannabis facilities.

The Department of Health and Senior Services is proposing amendments that would clarify ownership requirements and how rule violations affect cannabis businesses and employees.

The changes would also address ownership transfers, including publicly traded companies and microbusinesses transferred to eligible family members.

They would also clarify product recall procedures and how past violations may affect participation in the industry.

The proposed rules will be published November 2nd, with public comments accepted through December 2nd.
