Mizzou Football Players Arrested
Mizzou football head coach Eli Drinkwitz is responding to the arrests of three freshman players accused of first-degree harassment.
The three 18-year-olds were taken into Columbia Police custody Monday afternoon and later released on $1,500 bonds, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Drinkwitz addressed the arrests during a pre-scheduled press conference Tuesday, saying he will allow the legal process and fact-finding to play out before making any decisions.
Drinkwitz also said the players will remain away from the team while the situation is resolved.
Arrest records have not yet been made public.
