I-70 Overnight Closures
Overnight lane and exit closures are underway on eastbound Interstate 70 near Kingdom City.
MoDOT says the right lane, along with exits 144 and 148, will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving. The closures are expected to last about two weeks.
Drivers heading to U.S. 54 are encouraged to exit at Route J before reaching the closures. Detour signs and message boards will be posted.
The work is part of the Improve I-70 project. Officials say the Columbia-to-Kingdom City portion remains on track for completion in late 2027.
