Jefferson City Man Charged in Meth Case

A Jefferson City man faces a felony drug charge after authorities allegedly found more than 25 grams of methamphetamine hidden in his shoe.

Court documents say 41-year-old Walter J. Grace Junior was stopped by police in September after an officer spotted him riding a bicycle without proper lighting.

Officers later found a digital scale with a substance that tested positive for amphetamines in his backpack. Jail employees discovered three bags of methamphetamine weighing 25-point-49 grams during booking.

Grace is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and two misdemeanors. Court documents say he was on parole.
