Mexico Truck Fire Linked to Burglaries
A pickup truck linked to two burglaries in Auxvasse was found on fire Monday afternoon in Audrain County.
The Mexico Public Safety Department says crews responded around 12:15 p.m. near Teal Lake Road and Audrain County Road 815, where a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire spread into nearby grass and began burning a storage shelter before crews brought it under control. No injuries were reported, and no further damage occurred.
