Green Estate Park Lawsuit Continues

A dispute over Green Estate Park in Mexico is continuing in federal court.

Green Estate L-L-C has asked a judge to reject the city’s request to dismiss its lawsuit over the park’s maintenance and ownership.

The company alleges the city failed to maintain parts of the 143-acre park, including bridges, fencing and areas around Rabbit’s Foot Lake.

The city says it maintains the park while allowing some natural vegetation to grow for environmental purposes.

Green Estate also opposes the city’s request to dismiss its claim for attorney fees.

The city’s latest reply is due October 29, before the judge rules on the motions
