Boone County Head-On Crash
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office has submitted probable cause for criminal charges after a head-on crash left two drivers seriously injured.
Investigators say a 49-year-old man driving a sedan with a suspended or revoked license crossed the center line on a curve along St. Charles Road Wednesday and hit an oncoming SUV.
The SUV’s driver was a 23-year-old woman. Both drivers were extricated and taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
The case is now with the Boone County prosecutor.
