Mexico-Audrain County Libraries To Reopen With Abbreviated Hours Next Month
The Mexico-Audrain County Library will be reopening for business on Tuesday, May 5th. The locations include Mexico, Martinsburg, Laddonia, Farber and Vandalia. Local FFA Chapters Receive State Recognition
Mexico, Paris, Centralia, Community R-VI in Laddonia, Ashland, Bowling Green and Monroe City FFA chapters all received a Gold Emblem. Only 10 percent of state chapters receive a top chapter designation each year.

Community R-6 Senior Receives Missouri Corn Growers Scholarship
A one thousand dollar scholarship is being awarded to Lauryn Robnett of Laddonia from the Missouri Corn Growers Committee. Lauryn is a senior at Community R-6 High School and the daughter of Jon and Dana Robnett. She plans on attending the University of Missouri where she will study animal science.

Audrain County Library District Closing Libraries Amidst Coronavirus Fears
The Audrain County Library District will be closing their 5 locations this Saturday, March 21st at the end of the business day. The Community R-VI Girls Basketball team saw their season come to an end in Springfield tonight (Thursday) in Final Four action in Class 1. The Walnut Grove Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Trojans 52 to 47. Scoring details will be posted as soon as they are available.
