The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified the man who was killed after exchanging gunfire with law enforcement on North Oakland Gravel Road around 2:20 yesterday afternoon.
The suspect has been identified as 35 year old Troy Bateman. Law enforcement has been seeking Bateman since he allegedly exchanged gun fire with an officer on January 13. He was also being sought on a parole violation warrant for burglary.
The investigation is still ongoing.
