The Jefferson City Police Department shut down part of Missouri Boulevard for a man hunt early this morning.
Officers report they attempted a traffic stop near the 2800 block of Missouri Boulevard, when the suspect fled. He lost control of his vehicle, crashing at Missouri Boulevard and Stoneridge Parkway, where he fled on foot.
He was apprehended after falling from an embankment.
He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia where he was treated for minor injuries.
He is currently being held in the Cole County Jail for parole violation, with pending charges for resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
