Moberly Homicide

Moberly Police are investigating a homicide that took place this morning [Thursday] in the 1000 block of South Williams Street.

MPD reports officers responded to a disturbance with shots fired. Upon arrival they found a 54 year old white male with a possible gunshot wound.

He was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The Randolph County Coroner has ruled the death a homicide. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

There are currently persons of interest being interviewed at the Moberly Police Department.
