One person is in custody after running from officers in Mexico yesterday [Monday] morning.
According to Major Brice Mesko with Mexico Public Safety, officers attempted a traffic stop near the intersection of South Western and Hisey for traffic violations, and the driver possible having outstanding warrants.
The driver, identified as 32 year old James Mayweather, of Mexico, fled from the vehicle on foot. He was arrested two blocks away.
He is facing charges of driving while suspended and resisting arrest.
