Greitens Not Using State Plane

Missouri Governor Eric Greitens has not flown on a state airplane, and is instead using private donors and campaign funds to pay for flights.

Greitens Chief of Staff, Michael Roche, said the governor is committed to spending as little of the taxpayers money as possible for travel.

Campaign funds were used to pay for a recent commercial flight to Washington, and to finance a private plane to fly to southern Missouri for ceremonial signings of a the right to work law prohibiting mandatory union fees.
