A home in Mexico sustained minor damage in a fire yesterday afternoon in the 800 block of Trinity.
Mexico Public Safety responded at around 3:23. The residents reported a fire in the kitchen of the home about an hour before seeing smoke coming from an outside attic vent.
Fire crews found a small fire in the attic around the stove exhaust duct. It was quickly contained and extinguished.
There were no injuries in the incident.
