Mid-Missouri Woman Leads Charge to help Wildfire Victims

A convoy left at 9:00 this morning from Midway to distribute supplies in Kansas and Oklahoma to victims of the wildfires in Kansas and Oklahoma.

Farmers and organizations in Boone County loaded several semi trucks down with hay, bottled water and fencing to be delivered to Kansas today.

Courtney Thompson started the Central Missouri Wildfire Relief Convoy last week, and community members began dropping off supplies in Columbia.

In addition to their trip to Kansas today, a delivery will be made to Gates, Oklahoma tomorrow.
