Columbia Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery at a convenience store this (Thursday) morning.
According to police it happened just before 5 this (Thursday) morning at the Phillips 66 Petro Convenience Store at 2200 West Ash Street.
Authorities say a the suspect did not display a weapon and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark colored vehicle.
The clerk was not injured during the robbery.
He is described as a black man , 5’9, with a slender build and was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his hair.
