High Speed Chase Suspect on the Loose

Police are searching for a man that took them on a high speed chase through 3 counties early this (morning).

According to reports The Maries, Osage, and Cole County Sheriff’s Department all tried to stop a vehicle that was driving over 100 miles per hour.

Police say the man crashed in Meta at 5th street and took off on foot.

Deputies say they found stolen property, a shotgun, and ammunition in the crashed car.

Meta residents are being warned to make sure to lock their vehicles and homes while authorities search for the man.
