The City of Fulton is announcing a new fire chief has been named after a month long search.

Kevin Coffelt is stepping into the position.

Bill Johnson Director of Administration for the City of Fulton says Coffelt is a 20 year veteran of the Fulton Fire Department.

Coffelt officially started his role as the chief yesterday (Thursday).
