A basic firefighter training this (Wednesday) morning was provided to 3 new firefighters at the Mexico Public Safety Fire Department.
Fire Sgt. Russell Sing conducted the training for Dakota Bouie, Kirk Jennings, and Christopher Hebert.
Major Bryce Mesko says part of the training dealt with wearing a self contained breathing apparatus suit.
Mesko says once the training is complete documentation is sent off to the state for certification.
