The Mexico School Board will not implement their proposed pay to participate program in sports this year.
Mexico Superintendent Kevin Freeman says the board is looking at other options and is tasking their administration to try and get corporate sponsors to pay for sports.
The board has decided to revisit the pay to participate program next year.
