Community leaders in Callaway County are continuing to explore options to keep their hospital from closing its doors. Callaway County Presiding Commissioner Gary Jungermann says they are looking into hiring a consulting firm for help with saving the hospital.
Jungermann says the main goal of their community is to keep the hospital from the scheduled closing on September 22nd.
