Columbia Home Invasion Robbery Under Investigation
A home invasion in Columbia at the Sunrise Estates subdivision is under investigation.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department it happened yesterday (Monday) morning just before 5, in the 7400 block of Sunburst Court.
Deputies say a 30 year old woman and a 32 year old man where at home when 2 black males broke in through the back door.
No property was taken, however it is reported one of the men fired shots at a dog as he was leaving.
