A Jefferson City woman is suing the Jefferson City Housing Authority after her son became sick while living there.
Court records indicate, Jacqueline Stewart and her one year old son moved into a Jefferson City Housing Authority dwelling on Elizabeth Street in November of 2013.
The lawsuit claims that her son who before moving into the apartment did not have any pulmonary issues, but after of weeks of living there developed issues and had to start breathing treatments.
Stewart claims reporting mold and fungus problems multiple times to the housing authority but they did nothing to resolve the issue.
