A Callaway County Judge has denied 50 year old Melissa Baxter’s request that two of her dogs be returned to her in court today. [Friday]
137 animals were removed from her home on Grand Avenue on July 26, and the home has been condemned.
Baxter told the judge she suffers from depression and the dogs help with that.
The animals are currently at the Grabb Animal Shelter.
