Labor Day Traffic Fatalities at 8 Down from Last Year

The number of traffic fatalities is down from last year over the Labor Day weekend.

According to statistics from the Missouri Highway Patrol eight people died in traffic crashes, which is down from the 20 fatalities reported last year.


There were 317 crashes, 112 injuries, 136 DWI’s and 128 drug arrests.

The counting period started on Friday and run through yesterday (Monday).
